IREC Announces Award Winners

Selected through a competitive process, the Innovation Awards were made in six categories: The Rahus Institute (non-profit); the State of Michigan (state government); We Energies (college and university); the Advanced Transportation Technology and Energy Center and Hands On Solar (workforce development); Bonneville Environmental Foundation (K-12); and the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (local government)

It's already shaping up to be another large gathering of the solar community in Anaheim this week at Solar Power International. According to SEPA, numbers are up from last year at this time. There are more than 900 exhibitors; last year, there were only 420.

Wow, twice the number, that is impressive. I'd like to have come out to it again this year but it didn't work out in my plans. Did anyone else out there attend?
