Oman PDO extends bid deadline for oil contracts

Oman's Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has said it had extended the deadline for prequalification of contractors to Aug. 12 from July 28, to compete for up to $7bn in contracts to work on the country's oilfields, Reuters has reported.
