Nakilat gets new carrier; seeks $940m

Qatar Gas Transportation Co (Nakilat) has received its Q-Flex LNG carriers that is chartered on long term contract to Qatargas 3. The carrier will be used to ship LNG produced by Qatargas 3, to markets primarily in the United States. Meanwhile,, Nakilat is also seeking $940m loan, the third phase of financing for its $7.5bn acquisition of 25 LNG ships, Reuters has reported.
