Abu Dhabi energy research group partners with US university

Abu Dhabi's Petroleum Institute has presented a three-year, $6.1m grant to the University of Minnesota to fund a research joint venture, to be called the Abu Dhabi-Minnesota Institute for Research Excellence. Faculty members from both the University of Minnesotas department of chemical engineering and the Petroleum Institute will participate in the research, which will include studies of ways utilize limited energy resources.
