Qatar's Minister of State for Energy and Industry, H E Dr Mohamed bin Saleh Al Sada has said that if oil prices remain low, producing countries cannot invest enough in developing technology. It's difficult to feel empathy for the oil producers, given the profit margins they have obviously experienced for some time now. Now that they are reduced to simply a "reasonable" profit, this is what we are expected to believe? The cost of gas still remains inflated compared to the cost per barrel which has been sub-$40 now for some time. I for one am not feeling this, folks...
