A lead-acid battery is a electrical storage device that uses a reversible chemical reaction to store energy.A Lead Acid battery is made up of plates, lead, and lead oxide (various other elements are used to change density, hardness, porosity, etc.) with a 35% sulfuric acid and 65% water solution. This solution is called electrolyte which causes a chemical reaction that produce electrons.
That's a simple description in a nutshell... hope it helps!!

I hate to be asking such a newbie question, but thats just what I am...a newbie.
I am looking at getting a Flyer LE from BH and need to decide which power option I will go with.
Does it really matter which power option I choose or does it depend on the camera I use with it?
The battery powers only the monitor, while your camera uses its standard batteries, correct?
Which is the most popular battery solution?
Thanks for shedding some light on the matter, and again I apologize for such a newbie question.
Thanks again
